TfL seeks partner for £250M track works

Track and station improvements at Shenfield completed as TfL Rail services return 269219

Transport for London (TfL) is on the hunt for a contractor to deliver £250M of track renewal work across the next four years.

The winning bidder will merge with TfL’s track team to deliver its four-year track renewal programme, starting in early 2019. It comes with the opportunity to extend the contract for another six years.

Work includes supplying plant and materials, completing deep-tube points, ballasted track renewals, crossings renewals and track drainage.

Interested parties have until next Tuesday (19 June) to get involved. Invitations to tender will then be sent to shortlisted firms in August.
