Six firms win work on High Speed 2 phase two design

High Speed 2 (HS2) project promoter HS2 Ltd has named six consultants to work on design frameworks for the second phase of the project.

HS2 will be a Y-shaped rail network providing high speed train links between London, Birmingham, Leeds and Manchester. Design work for the first phase from London to Birmingham is already underway. • Hyder Consulting
  • Jacobs Engineering
  • Mott MacDonald

Lot 2 - Environmental Services

  • Arup
  • Temple RSK JV
  • Mott MacDonald

All HS2 Ltd contracts are awarded following public body procurement rules based on the principles of equal treatment, transparency and non-discrimination.
