Roads framework places up for grabs

Roads framework places up for grabs

Contractors are sought for up to £120M of road surfacing works in the South East.

Hertfordshire County Council advertised a three-year framework that could be extended for a further 12 months.

The five-lot deal will cover carriageway machine surfacing; carriageway surface dressing; carriageway microsurfacing; footway reconstruction and surface treatment; and general civils.

Contractors have until 8 April to express an interest in the work, with a shortlist expected in May and the framework scheduled to come into effect in October.

Up to 30 firms could be selected for the framework. More information here.
