ODA reveals workforce figures

A quarter of workers on the Olympic Park and Village are from the local area according to latest figures from the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA).

The Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) has published the latest employment and skills figures for its 12,635 strong the Olympic Park and Olympic Village

A quarter (25%) are resident in the five Host Boroughs – Greenwich, Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest - this is above the target of Host Borough residents making up at least 15% of the construction workforce. More than six out of ten live in London (62%).

ODA’s National Skills Academy for Construction has also delivered 3,451 training places including the Plant Training Centre and Thames House Training centre in Newham.
