The penultimate round of the New Civil Engineer’s Big Fat Quiz of the Year is here.
The year has certainly had more than its fair share of memorable moments, be they the collapse of Carillion, the terrible bridge collapses in Florida and Genoa, or the embarrassing delay to opening of Europe’s biggest infrastructure project, Crossrail. There have been highs too, with civil engineers making the news and impact worldwide with some incredible innovations. But how well do you remember them?
Yesterday’s round focused on everything from football stadiums to the middle name of Network Rail’s chief executive.
Today’s questions relate to events that made the news in New Civil Engineer from October to December this year.
The quiz is being brought to you in association with leading stormwater management solutions provider Wavin.
Answers will be published on Friday 21 December when we will also announce the winners of our very special prize.
