It is Day 2 of New Civil Engineer’s Big Fat Quiz of the Year.
The year has certainly had more than its fair share of memorable moments, be they the collapse of Carillion, the terrible bridge collapses in Florida and Genoa, or the embarrassing delay to opening of Europe’s biggest infrastructure project, Crossrail. There have been highs too, with civil engineers making the news and impact worldwide with some incredible innovations. But how well do you remember them?
Yesterday’s round focused on the first part of 2018, with Carillion, James Dyson and Boris Johnson making appearances.
Today’s questions are on everything from football stadiums to the middle name of Network Rail’s chief executive.
The quiz is being brought to you in association with leading stormwater management solutions provider Wavin.
If you missed yesterday’s round, its not too late! You can catch up on the last round here.
Answers will be published on Friday 21 December when we will also announce the winners of our very special prize.
