Minister briefs industry heads on Localism Bill

Senior industry figures gathered at the ICE’s headquarters recently to discuss the government’s localism agenda.
Representatives from Arup, EdF and the Federation of Small Businesses met with Department for Communities and Local Government minister Greg Clark MP, who briefed them on the policy’s implications for infrastructure planning and delivery.

This was the latest meeting of the ICE Strategic Infrastructure Group and provided a valuable opportunity for its members to raise a range of concerns with the minister, who is responsible for steering the Localism Bill through Parliament.
