Laing O'Rourke lands Crossrail Farringdon station piling and foundations contract

A Laing O’Rourke / Strabag joint venture has won Crossrail’s Farringdon station advance works contract.

The deal, for undisclosed sum, will see the JV carry out piling and other foundation works at Farringdon station. The works will follow on from Network Rail’s ongoing £250M project to redevelop the National Rail and Tube part of the station. This work is being carried out by a Laing O’Rourke / Costain JV.

Laing O’Rourke subsidiary Expanded Piling has just completed the excavation of Crossrail’s Canary Wharf station box.
