High Speed Two seeks new chiefs

High Speed Two kicks off its search next week for a new chief executive and a number of new non-executive directors

The process is designed to strengthen the board as the project morphs from an advisory role to become a delivery body for the £33bn scheme.

Current chief executive Alison Munroe will remain in post throughout the process.

Applications also closed this week to find a new non-executive chairman, a post currently held by Sir Brian Briscoe.

Recruitment specialist Odgers Berndtson is leading the selection process which runs from 13 February to 9 March.
