Former Ramboll MD joins Mott MacDonald

Steve Canadine 3x2

Mott MacDonald has appointed Steve Canadine as development director for its environment business.

He will work with existing environmental teams to implement the consultancy’s strategy in the UK, Europe and Africa.

Canadine previously worked at Gifford and was appointed chief executive in 2010. Following Ramboll’s acquisition of Gifford in 2011, Canadine joined the company’s UK executive board and was subsequently appointed as managing director.

James Harris, managing director of Mott MacDonald’s water and environment business, said: “Steve has undertaken a range of business and project leadership roles and is passionate about building teams who deliver excellence for the benefit of clients, consultancy and wider society.

“He is a fantastic addition to our existing team and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our environment business. Steve will play a key role in our growth strategy and his insight will benefit both our staff and the clients we work with.”
