Equipment hire focus for CMS Geotech

Meeting the demands of the oil and gas industry and offshore energy market is the main aim of the geotechnical equipment hire services that have been
launched by CMS Geotech to add to its existing business.

The company has established a new base in Lowestoft, Suffolk that will specialise in geotechnical equipment hire, geotechnical surveys and seabed sampling, specialist vessel charter and wider marine survey consultancy support services.

The company has said that the new focus aims to build on its established business within the marine aggregate, port and harbour dredging sectors and
subsea cabling market.

The equipment available to hire worldwide includes a Datem 5000 CPT, several high powered vibrocorers and a large variety of grabs and corers, including a new hydraulic clamshell grab.

The extension of the business means CMS Geotech can also offer environmental surveys and geotechnical site investigations. It has already secured a number of contracts for projects within UK waters.
