EDF appoints WSP to consulting role

Renewable Energy

EDF Energy has appointed WSP Parsons Brinckerhoff as engineering consultant for its UK fleet of wind farms, gas storage sites, coal and gas power stations.

The firm will join its technical support alliance providing engineering consultancy services on pressure systems management, rotating plant, electrical systems, quality services, performance and reliability management, gas storage and renewables sites.

“Our teams will be working closely with EDF Energy central technical organisation and their site teams to support long term strategic projects and respond to emerging technical issues affecting the commercial operation of their assets,” said WSP Parsons Brinckerhoff quality and inspection services director Jason Ainscough.
