Cumbria Council announces civils firms on £12M framework

Cumbria County Council has announced the civil engineering firms that have been appointed to its £12M professional services framework. 

WYG, Global Partnering Solutions, Capita, Jacobs, WSP, Ramboll, Mott MacDonald and Aecom were appointed to the civils consultancy lot for projects worth more than £100,000. WSP, Capita, WYG Engineering and Mott MacDonald also won places on the lot for works worth less than £100,000.

Projects will include regeneration initiatives, marine or harbour projects, and flood defence and alleviation. 

The infrastructure planning lot, for works worth more than £100,000, was filled by Capita, WSP, Jacobs, WTG Engineering, Aecom, Mott MacDonald and Arup. The work will involve transport modelling, environmental impact assessments and project and programme management. 

Other lots on the two-year framework include architecture and building surveying services.
