Crane collapses in New York

Crane collapse in New York City February 2016

A crane has collapsed in New York City, killing one person.

The Fire Department New York said the incident happened in the Tribeca neighbourhood.

Fire chiefs are attending the scene, and have been briefing city mayor Bill de Blasio. 

Two further people have been injured by the collapse, according to the fire department.
