cardiff airport 3x2

Cardiff Council is seeking contractors for a £1bn framework of works covering schools and public buildings.

The South East and MidWales Collaborative Construction Framework takes in local authorities across the region and is split into lots of various values, ranging from £250,000-£1m at the lower end to £25m-£100m at the top. A maximum of 10 candidates will be invited for each.

Other parties which will draw on the framework include Transport for Wales, Natural Resources Wales and Cardiff Airport.

The framework says it will be looking for “modular solutions” as well as standard construction.
