BCIA special awards shortlists revealed

BCIA 2014

Excellence in project delivery by British construction firms is being recognised today through the shortlist announcement for the final, special award categories at the British Construction Industry Awards (BCIA).

All projects shortlisted in the seven project categories were also eligible for the six special award categories. These are:

  • Award for Natural and Cultural Heritage
  • Community Engagement Award
  • Health, Safety & Wellbeing Award
  • Low Carbon Construction Award
  • Judges’ Special Award
  • Prime Minister’s Better Public Building Award

Now, with the judges having visited all shortlisted projects, interviewed the project teams and made their deliberations, New Civil Engineer can announce the projects that were selected for recognition in these specific areas.
