British Construction Industry Awards shortlist revealed

BCIA 2014

New Civil Engineer has announced the finalists for the 2016 British Construction Industry Awards (BCIA).

The only construction industry awards scheme to have the backing of the prime minister, the finalists span 17 categories and include 72 individual companies.

“This year’s contenders really demonstrate the depth and breadth of excellence in the British construction industry,” commented New Civil Engineer editor Mark Hansford.

“The judges can’t wait to get out across the country and see the impact these projects are having on their communities and we really look forward to recognising our winners at the awards dinner in October.”

This year’s awards will take place on 12 October at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
