Arup and Morgan Sindall are leading the nominations for of this year’s NCE100 awards, with both companies shortlisted for five accolades.
Arup has been shortlisted for the Diversity Leader of the Year, Impact in Transport, Impact in Urban Living, Innovation in Project Initiation and Low Carbon Leader categories.
Morgan Sindall is in the running for Construction Innovator, Diversity Leader of the Year, Health & Wellbeing Leader of the Year, Impact in Water and Innovation in Project Management.
Last year’s NCE100 Company of the Year Arcadis has been shortlisted four times, as have Black & Veatch, BuroHappold, Pell Frischmann, Ramboll, Sweco and WSP.
Entries were whittled down by the NCE100 panel of judges who will now hear submissions in person before making their final decisions.
New Civil Engineer editor Mark Hansford said: “This year’s entries are of exceptional quality and our judges now will have a tough time picking the winners.
“It is great to see the whole range of the industry represented from big companies to SMEs, consultants and contractors.”
