£250M airports deal up for grabs

Contractors have been invited to compete for up to £250M of construction work across four UK airports.

Manchester Airport Group advertised a single-operator framework to deliver works at Manchester, East Midlands, Stansted and Bournemouth airports.

The deal will last between four and eight years and include works such as new build and refurbishment of taxiways and stands; earthworks; lighting; and signage.

It will include work on the £1bn Manchester Airport transformation project, which was approved by councillors last week.

Firms have until 4 April to express an interest in the framework. More information here.
