Latest Release

Revit Technology Corporation is to put its Release 4 on the market next month. At under £2,000 a year Revit's package concentrates on the management of change within a building's life, from the architect through to the end user.

Previously concentrating on the architectural design requirements, Revit's new release will enable engineers to pick up an architect's 3D model and analyse its structural integrity, viewing it from any desired angle and automatically updating all angles with any changes, offering large time savings.

Using a standard Windows interface Release 4 will allow the building's structure to be designed throughout its construction on the same model. Revit believes many of the multi-tasking organisations which use its products will take advantage of the design capabilities of the new package ahead of the rest of the engineering industry.
