Latest 2012 bridges contract released

The latest package of bridge work for London 2012 was put out to tender by the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) on Friday.

The Wetlands Area Bridges package comprises the construction of two permanent footbridges over the River Lea and a single permanent footbridge over the Channelsea River together with the design and construction of temporary bridges adjacent to the permanent bridges.

All the bridges are located within the northern area of the Olympic Park, Stratford.

The package is the fifth of seven Structures, Bridges and Highways packages of work to be put to tender by the ODA.
