Last chance to enter construction challenge

Aid agency Care International is making a final call for intrepid construction workers to join the Care Construction Challenge on 2 July to help tackle global poverty.

Challenge yourself

The challenge will see teams from all levels of the construction industry take part in a demanding day of activity at Cannock Chase, Staffordshire.

Each team member will cover a marathon on bike, canoe and foot. There will also be mystery challenges along the way, plus a bonus stage for the most competitive teams. The day will culminate in well-deserved meal and celebration.

The challenge will be run by Care’s in-house Challenge Team to raise funds for the charity’s overseas work. Care works in 87 countries, to alleviate the effects of poverty.

Twenty two teams from across the industry have signed up, including Balfour Beatty, Korec, Bam Nuttall, Jacobs, Costain, GHA Livigunn, Westoak Construction, University of Bristol, Ridge, DJ Goode & Associates, Capita Architecture, RDG Engineering and Union Square.

Along with NCE and Union Square, Costain is supporting this year’s event.
