Largest US contractor is Bechtel


Bechtel is again the largest US contractor in the Engineering News Record Top 400 for 2003. The annual survey shows the firm working on a total $18,066M (£9,748M) worth of contracts in the year, a huge 36% increase on last year.

Second largest firm is Centex, Fluor Corp is third, Turner Corporation fourth and Jacobs fifth. Skanska USA and Bovis Lend Lease are the first two international names on the list, in the next two positions.
