Klemm delivers performance benefits

Delivery of a new Klemm KR702-2 drilling rig, supplied by Skelair International, to the piling arm of Middlesex-based Underpin & Makegood (U&M) is already being put to good use on the company’s larger projects.

U&M’s investment in the new rig was driven by increased demand from clients to work on larger schemes. According to Skelair, the Klemm rig’s capability to drill holes up to 450mm diameter and its extendable mast made it a good fit for the company’s expansion and also complements the Klemm KR500 already in its fleet.

“The Klemm KR500 has proven itself to be a highly robust and reliable machine,” said U&M’s David Gakhar “When looking to expand our offering, it made sense to stay with what we know to be an excellent rig but with a broader range of capabilities.”
