Kier bathes in South Coast water deal

Kier has won water infrastructure work worth up to £25M.

The contractor was named as delivery partner for utility firm Sembcorp Bournemouth Water’s maintenance programme.

The deal is worth £3.5m per year, with the contract lasting an initial two years before a possible five-year extension.

Kier’s work will include repair and maintenance, mains laying and meter installation.

SBW managing director Roger Harrington said: “Kier’s experience and reputation in the industry are considerable, but more importantly, its approach to customer service is aligned to ours, which will ensure service delivery excellence for our customers.”
