Kennedy & Donkin looks overseas

CONSULTANT KENNEDY & Donkin has changed the name of its UK operations to PB Kennedy & Donkin following its recent acquisition by American engineering consultant Parsons Brinkerhoff. With the addition of Kennedy & Donkin, the Parsons Brinkerhoff Group now employs more than 7,000 people worldwide.

According to a company spokesman, the changes mean PBKD's Godalming- based geo- technical group led by Richard Green will become more involved internationally. Current major transportation schemes outside the UK include highways in Turkey and the Cairo and Bombay metros. Development of the geoenvironmental market into the European and SE Asian regions will also being actively pursued.
