Keller to merge geotechnical operations

Contractor Keller UK today announced that it will merge its two major geotechnical operations in the New Year.

Two of its divisions - Keller Geotechnical and Systemps Geotechnique - will combine to form Keller Geotechnique.

Earlier this year, Keller UK managing director Jim De Waele said the firm was keen to streamline its operations to give clarity about the services it has to offer.

“The merger is the next step in Keller’s All Together Now strategy,” said Keller Geotechnique managing director Bob Thompson. “Together we are able to offer greater choice in the range of geotechnical solutions offered to our customers throughout the UK via our network of local offices.

“Our unparalleled range and capacity allows us to design and construct solutions based upon the most cost effective geotechnical techniques, furthermore, by merging the site support functions of the two companies we have optimised our cost base so as to increase our competitive advantage.”
