Keller Group has posted a 12% revenue increase to £850M, but results from Asia Pacific disappointed the company.
Ground engineering firm Keller Group has posted a record £850M revenue for the first half of 2016. The firm reported strong performance led by North America and Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), but said results from Asia Pacific (APAC) were disappointing.
Operating profit for the company is down 6%, and the interim dividend has increased 5% to 9.25p per share.
“We have seen an encouraging start to the year in North America and EMEA, our two largest divisions. APAC made a loss in the period, due to market conditions and project delays, but we expect a return to profitability in the second half of the year. Overall, the Group continues to make good progress against our medium-term objectives, building on our strong market positions and favourable market trends,” said Keller Group chief executive Alain Michaelis.
