Keller Ground Engineering

Keller Ground Engineering has taken delivery of two purpose-built Vibro rigs, bringing its fleet up to seven. The Minicats, from Colcrete Eurodrill, can install both vibro stone and vibro concrete columns. The self-erecting rigs have on-board instrumentation to provide an immediate printed record for every column built.

Keller Vibro general manager Vince O'Hara said: 'Weighing in at only 20t the new rigs are not only 15t lighter than the traditional crane hung machines, they are also much quieter and provide far higher site production. 'The firm says it plans eventually to replace its entire crane-hung vibro fleet with Minicats.
