Keller extends Franki empire

Keller Group has agreed to acquire Franki Pacific Holdings from Belgian parent company Franki for £3.5M.

A minority interest in FPH will be offered to the local operating management team, with whom Keller has reached agreement in principle.

FPH has a 60% share in Frankipile Indonesia and through its subsidiary company Frankipile Australia, carries out piling and ground treatment for the Australian market, where it has been the market leader for a number of years.

The company, which has head offices in Sydney, recently finished a A$7M (£2.7M) contract to install over 2,000 piles for the new Olympic Stadium in Sydney for the 2000 Games.
