Keith Clarke to deliver Brunel Lecture series

Keith Clarke, ICE Fellow and Atkins chief executive, has been chosen as the lecturer for ICE’s next Brunel Lecture series, starting in May 2010.

Seven lecture series have been delivered so far, covering issues of international importance and interest such as technology for the third millennium, sustainable development, poverty alleviation and water for the world.

Clarke was announced as the next lecturer last week at the Entering the Ecological Age post Copenhagen lecture.

The lecture marked the end of the seventh lecture series, which was delivered by Arup director and ICE Fellow Peter Head.

The series was established by ICE in 1999 in memory of Isambard Kingdom Brunel.
