Jurors for Hatfield rail crash trial recalled

Jurors in the Hatfield rail crash trial were due to be recalled yesterday (Wednesday). The court has not been sitting since the prosecution case against five civil engineers, Balfour Beatty and Network Rail closed last month. The engineers and Balfour Beatty face manslaughter charges while Network Rail is prosecuted under the Health & Safety at Work Act. All charges are denied.
