Joint beef

Your note on the Joint Board of Moderators (JBM) left the Institute of Highway Incorporated Engineers out of the list of board members.

IHIE has been licenced by the Engineering Council to accredit degrees since 1990 and joined the JBM in 2002.

Also, an ordinary BSc degree is the benchmark for an incorporated engineer, not a BEng.

There are still lots of competent aspiring incorporated engineers with Higher Nationals who can use the ICE or IHIE technical report route to registration: Do not worry about 'further learning' - get the experience.
