John Sisk & Son wins Birmingham airport contract

John Sisk & Son has won a £2.5M contract to build a new hangar and ancillary office with crew and passenger facilities at Birmingham Airport.

The new facility will provide a link for private jets and VIP guests at the Freeport area of the airport for tenant Eurojet.

The 3,800m² complex will be delivered in 26 weeks including a fit-out of the complex for a lounge, flight crew accommodation, and maintenance facility.

The building will comprise a steel frame with Kingspan composite cladding to the roof and elevations.
