Recruitment consultant Calco is looking to fill positions in the highways sector.

See advertisement page 59 Tell us about Calco We're entering our 20th year of trading, so we are really familiar with the field, says operations director Bill Gray.

In the early days our clients were mainly in the public sector.

Today, with all the changes that have taken place, we represent both the large private sector consultants and small specialist or niche firms.

What kinds of job are on offer?

We are looking to fill jobs at all levels from people with 12 to 18 months experience right through to very senior positions.

Good design experience is always a benefit. These are permanent positions with consultancies. Site work has been a little slow for the past few months, but it's certainly an area we deal with and we also handle contract placements.

Where is the work?

Effectively we can offer positions nationwide, although the majority of our clients are based in London and the Home Counties.

Why would I want to come to Calco Over the years we've come to know the sector very well and we are familiar with its dynamic. One phone call to us will plug you into the entire network. We are also in a position to give you career advice. We can give you an objective appraisal of the best way to develop your career, suggest what your next move should be and help you to make it.
