JMPI and TSL fined


Grimsby ased construction company JMPI and TSL Hygenic of Southampton have been fined a total of £13,000 plus £10,000 costs at the Old Bailey for breaches of the Construction (Health, Safety & Welfare) Regulations 1996. The Health & Safety Executive brought the prosecution after panel installer Anthony Abbott was killed in September 2001 falling from a scaffold platform while trying to access a ladder.
