Jim Gott joins Halcrow’s environment team

Halcrow has appointed Jim Gott as sector director for risk and remediation.

He joins Halcrow from Conestoga-Rovers & Associates and has fifteen years experience in environmental consulting for a range of private sector clients.

Gott’s specialism is the redevelopment of brownfield land. Over the past few years he has helped clients manage the environmental risks associated with major redevelopment projects at heavily contaminated sites. He has also assisted industrial clients with the divestiture of brownfield sites and has been involved with insurance-backed risk transfer projects.

“This is a great time to join a company with global operations, a long-term vision for expansion and a proven reputation for quality and client focus,” he said.

Gott will be based in Halcrow’s Leeds office and report to Halcrow development director for environment, Malcolm Hendry.

“Jim has a high profile in the remediation and redevelopment business. His appointment sends a clear message to the market and our clients as we continue strengthening our capabilities in this sector with top-level staff,” he said
