    Why was there no mention of Economy 7 and overnight storage of power in customers' homes? Over the last two decades there has been a shift away from E7 as gas is still cheaper. A simple subsidy of 2p a unit (not silly stuff like there was for solar) would make it competitive with gas and therefore make use of the excess nuclear generated power, some of which is wasted overnight.
