IT awards deadline looms

YOUNG ENGINEERS have just a fortnight to enter the Oasys IT design awards.

Failure to get entries in by 20 August will mean passing up the chance of winning £2,000 plus state of the art software.

The annual NCE sponsored award challenges young student and graduate engineers to demonstrate how computers can be used in civil and structural design.

Entries can take the form of a panel mounted montage, a computer presentation, a video visualisation or a single computer- generated image.

As well as the winners prize, there are five runners up awards with the successful entrant's university or employer also set to benefit. The total value of prizes is in excess of £30,000.

Ring Melanie Palmer on (0171) 465 3302 to enter.
