Ironic gesture?


Having just read the 31 May issue of NCE, I must agree that the advert for your CDM conference on 26 June is certainly 'beyond CDM', in the sense CDM applies to the UK and its territorial waters.

The workforce in the picture, the lack of edge protection for working at height and the absence of any stability bracing on the vertical formwork support all suggest the photo was taken in a country outside the UK. Is the picture intended to be ironic?
