Innovation in Engineering Awards shortlist announced

The Institution of Engineering & Technology has short-listed four consulting engineering firms for the built environment category of its annual Innovation in Engineering Awards.
Delmatic has been selected for providing an innovative and energy efficient solution to user control of building services. Halcrow Yolles made the shortlist for its Dalby Forest visitors' centre.Hurley Palmer Flatt applied carbon dioxide cooling in data centres. And Tridium was shortlisted for its Niagara AX framework and JACE2 Platform. The winner will be announced at an awards evening on 11 October. This year's awards have 17 categories and has attracted more than 160 entries from around the world.
