In the pipeline

The Pipeline Industries Guild is to stage its AGM in Birmingham alongside industry exhibition Pipelines 2000

PIPELINES, RUNNING with Civils 2000 and Interbuild at Birmingham's NEC, has grown 50% since it last took place in 1998. Pipeline Industries Guild chairman Ron Valente said that the size and significance of the show had been central to the decision to retime PIG's AGM.

'This is the only pipeline show in the UK and it covers every aspect of the industry. Every sector of the business will be represented, ' he commented.

Technical seminars are being geared to the gas, water and sewage, offshore and oil and chemical sectors on each of Pipelines' four days.

'Pipelines is an opportunity for specialists to display their cutting edge technology, ' said Valente.
