In the magazine

Starting in our next issue on 22/29 August, regular articles will present legal issues in a clear and accessible format so that regardless of how much you already know about the issues under discussion, there will be new information to help you in your work.

We will tackle the basics of construction law, beginning with contract law and tort, to outline exactly what civil engineers should watch out for. Our simple step by step guides will not make you a legal expert overnight, but should ensure that you at least know when the alarm bells should ring.

Perhaps one of the best learning opportunities will be discussion of the pitfalls of getting it wrong. Real life examples will serve as reminders of how to avoid such problems.

We want to hear about your experiences. Then our legal experts can tackle real and current issues to highlight points of law, because we want all the discussions to be as up to date and practical as possible.
