Consultants remain confident about increased earnings in 1998, according to the Construction Industry Council's latest Survey of Construction Professionals' Workloads. The results for the third quarter of 1998 show that nearly 60% of all firms expect to earn more fees than in 1997. However, the number of firms reporting increases in the value of new commissions fell from 44% in the second quarter of 1998 to 35%.
