In Brief The Government

The Government is considering a proposal to fund research by the Institution of Civil Engineers and Institution of Structural Engineers into the design, maintenance and repair of multistorey and underground car parks. The proposal comes under the Construction Directorate's Partners in Innovation scheme which already funds investigation of design, construction and on-site testing of car park barriers.
