The Environment Agency has named the Pentium consortium preferred bidder for the £30M contract to improve and maintain the Pevensey Bay sea defences on the south coast of England - the first PFI contract for a flood defence scheme in the UK. Pentium consists of Westminster Dredging, Dean & Dyball, Mackley Construction, Mouchel and KPMG Corporate Finance.
