In Brief Properties bought and sold by the Highways Agency

Properties bought and sold by the Highways Agency lose an average 32% in value, the National Audit Office revealed this week: a real terms loss of around £112M since 1994. 3,300 properties have been sold in the last five years largely as a result of the cancellation of road schemes.
