IN BRIEF: Construction Industry Training Board

The Construction Industry Training Board has launched 'Bridge the Gap', an interactive CD-Rom for teachers of Key Stage Two and Three school children. Using the construction of Holywell bridge on the Great Western Railway, the CD links the design and technology, science and mathematics curriculum with real life engineering. The CD includes five weeks of teachers' lesson plans that can be integrated into the school curriculum to suit. A brochure is being sent to every secondary school in the UK in the next two weeks.
