in brief Construction & Engineering Testing Group

Testing specialist Construction & Engineering Testing Group last month moved into the geotechnical sector with the acquisition of RM Brown Foundations Investigations and Highwood Geotechnics.

CET Group managing director Andrew Quinn says 'We have been looking for some time to expand our service into the geotechnical sector as it appears to offer natural synergy with our existing business. Now our clients should benefit from the extended range of services now available to them. The acquisitions double the size of the existing group to an annual turnover of £6M and 140 staff.
