Report highlights UK’s sustainability shortcomings

A report from lobby group UK Stakeholders for Sustainable Development has highlighted the UK’s underperformance against the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including those which relate to the built environment.

 ICE sustainability leadership team member Judith Sykes, who co-authored the chapter on SDG9: industry, innovation and infrastructure, said: “Achieving sustainability and radical reductions in greenhouse gas emissions requires existing infrastructure to be renewed or replaced.”
